Job Advert Summary
An Electrician is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of electrical systems within a specific area of responsibility to meet the highest specification standards in and around the worksite .
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certified competency as an Electrician – Trade Test and Switching of MV Certificate
- At least 5 years’ electrical experience in role or a similar role
Primary Duties
- Conduct daily inspection of Electrical equipment’s under his/her control.
- Ensure that the correct tools are used to complete tasks.
- Ensure that all planned Electrical maintenance schedules are performed timely and accurately.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are available for the shift’s requirements.
- Assist in maintaining instrumentation equipment in area of responsibility.
