We are looking for a salesperson to grow new business, assist with retention of clients and up-selling for our result-driven private tutoring company at our Pretoria branch. The candidate must be able to work under pressure, be good at negotiating, driven and innovative.
Responsibilities
- Learn the tutoring service packages and digital products offered
- Present, promote and sell private tutoring services to prospective clients through cold calling, email and direct marketing (pamphlets/brochures)
- Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with schools and other potential business partners to ensure future sales
- Ensure sales pipeline
- Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Maintain and update sales records
- Develop monthly sales report
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within timelines
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements
- Identify new potential clients
- Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve the customer experience
- Organizing and hosting presentations and client visits
- Assisting with promotional activities

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- BSc/BA/BCom degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field is an advantage
- Own car essential
Remuneration structure is a negotiable basic based on experience plus great commission.
