Position: Supervisor : Visual Arts Skills Development and Art as Healing Programmes - (Non-renewal contract)

Salary: R 8 712 per month
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in teaching and directing art programmes for all age groups and have sound knowledge of facilitation
- Assist in the implementation of all identified youth education and arts development programmes
- Assist in maintaining public awareness by implementing marketing, promotion and art programmes
- Assist Senior Supervisor in report writing to the Administrators
- Responsible for all administrative functions of the development and educational programmes
- Attend Visual Arts skills programmes

Minimum Requirements:
- Post matric qualification (National Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts )
- South African Citizen
- Resident of City of Ekurhuleni between 18 - 35 years, but men and women over 35 years will also be considered
- 2 - 5 years in the field of Arts and Culture as Teacher, Facilitator and Mentor
- Understanding the arts and culture in South Africa
- Knowledge of Visual Arts programmes and projects
- People management skills and facilitation of art programmes
- Demonstratable knowledge of Arts and Culture and Urban Management Programmes
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs ( Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc)
