Assistant Branch Manager
We require an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Diep River branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting the branch manager with personnel management issues (HR related)
- Assisting sales staff with customer, stock or services queries
- Ensuring the biometrics clocking system is correct for all employees in the branch for payroll purposes
- Relieving the cashier/receptionist when needed
- Liaising with buyers regarding special orders
- Assisting sales staff and customers on the floor when needed
- Filing and admin of the branch
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an assistant manager in the furniture/retail industry
- Must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays
- Own transport essential (public transport will be acceptable, if reliable)
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric
- Clear criminal record
- South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
- Reside in/or near the area
