Assistant Branch Manager

We require an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Diep River branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the branch manager with personnel management issues (HR related)
  • Assisting sales staff with customer, stock or services queries
  • Ensuring the biometrics clocking system is correct for all employees in the branch for payroll purposes
  • Relieving the cashier/receptionist when needed
  • Liaising with buyers regarding special orders
  • Assisting sales staff and customers on the floor when needed
  • Filing and admin of the branch

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an assistant manager in the furniture/retail industry
  • Must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Own transport essential (public transport will be acceptable, if reliable)
  • Must have Grade 12 / Matric
  • Clear criminal record
  • South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
  • Reside in/or near the area
