Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Applications, Admissions and Graduations
o Deal with applications, selections, admissions and registrations.
o Compile and send application documents to Programme Heads/ HOD's for consideration.
o Process Admission decisions on PeopleSoft.
o Provide administrative support during registrations and graduation ceremonies.
  • General Academic Administration
o Monitor academic records.
o Assist with process and keep track of title registration, appointment of assessors, residency time etc
o Assist to prepare Graduation programme and work at Graduation ceremonies.
o Prepare Student statistics.
  • Office Administration and data Capturing
o Perform general office administrative relating to Postgraduate students Administration.
o Handle data capturing and maintenance of data.
o Update Hons, Master and PhD data list
o Enter Title Registration, Ethics Information etc. on GRM.

Inherent Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or national vocational certificate on NQF Level 4.
  • Minimum of one (1) years’ experience at a Higher Education Institution.
  • Relevant experience in Postgraduate Administration.

Recommendations:

  • Bachelor's degree on NQF level 7.
  • Proficiency in Sesotho will serve as a strong recommendation.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 354,408.50 – R 444,721.26 per annum depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
