**URGENT** We are seeking an Experienced Management couple to join one of our clients Exclusive Private Nature Reserves
A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar position/s and the ability to be completely hands on in this small but very busy operation.
Need to be Team players, flexible and willing to do a wide scope of different duties.
Must be committed to consistent attention to the finer details, maintaining consistency in set standards and strive for nurturing excellent customer relationships.
FOR HER: Management of staff, continued assessment and training were required. Management of staff, continued assessment and training where required. Management of Central stores and complete stock control (stock takes, ordering, rotation, par levels, etc) working in conjunction with Chefs.
Compiling and placing orders, checking in of stock items.
Hands on involvement in kitchen and food operations, planning of menus, special request and requirements and related orders.
Complete hosting of Guests, including Lock up duty on roster basis. Management and Supervision of camp preparation for Guests (checking rooms, attention to detail and special touches and creativity to optimize guest experience).
Participating in external activities e.g., Sundowners, pancake stops, etc. Strong general admin experience (balancing petty cash, distribution of gratuities)
Strong proactive support to Lodge Manager, General Manager and the filling in for FOH team members when on leave.
Must be able to multitask with a proactive, hands-on management style and have the ability to make contingency plans.
Weekly town trips when required. Valid driver's license.
FOR HIM: Guiding Qualifications: at least FGASA LEVEL 1, FGASA LEAD TRAILS GUIDE & FGASA ARH qualifications, LEVEL 1 FIRST AID CERTIFICATE & PRDP or NQF2 including 8440 and 8478 and VPDA, LEVEL 1 FIRST AID CERTIFICATE & PRDP.
CATHSSETA CERTIFICATE and valid registration with NDT.
SASSETA rifle proficiency certificate of a minimum .375 calibre rifle, Unit Standard 117705, Unit Standard 123519, Unit Standard 119651 (if using personal rifle, must have "for business purpose license" and must be valid.
Management and overseeing of Staff in absence of Lodge Manager.
Overseeing Lodge Manager function, together with Management Team when Lodge Manager is on leave.
Overall support for Lodge Manager and General Managers. Management of Central Stores, Beverages, Bar and Wine stock. Administrative duties as per position.
Overseeing all aspects of property Maintenance and upkeep according to Company Standards.
Hosting of guests, including lock up duty on roster basis.
Overseeing all camp preparation for guest,
Keen attention to detail and guest experience.
Weekly town trips.
Valid Driver's License.
Strong Proactive Management style, able to trouble shoot and multitask. TEAM PLAYER.
