PURPOSE
To help maintain the efficient operation of a plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet specified operational requirements
Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Ensure that tools are kept in a safe working condition
Report and rectify process deficiencies in the production area
Liaise with the Shift Foreman and Site Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 or N3
Certificate in Basic Mineral Processing or Coal Preparation (Added advantage).
EXPERIENCE
At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Wash Plant Operator
Basic knowledge of the wash plant which includes flotation, crushing,
thickening and screening.
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Physically fit to do the work.
Emotional intelligence
Listening skills
Visibility on site
