Technology Consulting business is a fast-growing sub-service line within EY’s Consulting service line. A dynamic group focused on providing high value independent, trusted advice to clients, with a focus on transformation programmes.
The Digital and Emerging Technologies (DET) domain works with clients in creating value and delivering world-class IT capabilities to support business needs. Working closely with our industry groups and leveraging the EY brand as independent, trusted advisors, we provide our high-profile clients with a range of services including:
- Digital Strategy, IT Strategy and IT Sourcing Advisory
- Digital Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Services
- Digital Transformation (including Cloud, Cyber, Mobility, Social, etc.)
- IT Operating Model Design, IT Functions Transformation & Governance
We are seeing massive growth and potential in Digital Transformation across multiple sectors including Financial Services, Retail, Auto, Telecom, Life Sciences, Government, etc.
We are seeking an experienced individual that has worked in a Digital Transformation space with large recognised businesses in South Africa / abroad.
This role guides clients on their IT vision, strategy and roadmap as they embark on and build their digital transformation journey. You may deliver individually or manage a team’s delivery and should be embedded within our clients’ team. We’ll look to you to provide the client with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry.
Your key responsibilities
The role involves sales / sales support, practice development and engagement delivery.- Contribute to continued growth and profitability for EY, by identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities in existing and potential clients for own and other areas of the firm.
- The individual should be adept at people development and management for the practice.
- Build long-term relationships with key client decision makers which are based on mutual respect; act as a trusted advisor to key decision makers.
